Remembering to Be Grateful
August 23, 2018
Austin Regional Clinic is pleased to announce that Jonathan Nicholas “Nick” Posey, MD, Internal Medicine physician, has joined the team at ARC Kyle Plum Creek.
Originally from Teague, Texas, Dr. Posey says he wanted to become a doctor so that he could make a difference in the lives of others. He says, “I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to have a more fulfilling life that was in the ultimate interest of someone other than me.”
Listening and Hearing
Dr. Posey says that he tries to use an open mind and open heart when dealing with his patients. He says, “I approach medicine with an attitude of selflessness, no judgment and with the goal of not just listening to a patient but also actually hearing what they have to say.”
In his free time, Dr. Posey likes to explore outdoor spots with his four dogs! He adds, “I’m looking forward to finding many favorite spots in Central Texas.”
His health advice is good for everyone! He says, “Life is full of stress and many of us tend to put our own happiness and health on a back burner. I recommend each day to consistently take 5 minutes to turn down/off all distractions and remind yourself of all the good things you are grateful for in life.”
