Better Hearing in One Ear? BiCROS Hearing System Could be for You

If you have better hearing in one ear than the other, then the BiCROS (bilateral microphones with contralateral routing of signal) amplification system might be for you says Dr. Kristen Armstrong, Audiologist at ARC Cedar Park Medical Plaza.

Dr. Armstrong explains; “This system is for someone with little or no useable hearing in one ear and some hearing in their better hearing ear. It consists of a microphone on the poorer ear that transmits sound coming from that side to a hearing aid on the better ear.”

If you suspect hearing loss, or are concerned about a family member, make an appointment with Dr. Armstrong, online or by calling 512-260-1581.
