October Walk with a Doc – Manor

On Saturday, October 20, Dr. Jacqueline M. Champlain, and Dr. Farron C. Hunt, both Family Medicine physicians at ARC Manor, led a group in a Walk with a Doc (WWAD) event at Manor High School. Also joining in the fun were neighbors Dr. Liz Montero, DMD and Dr. Swetha Sama, DMD, both from Manor Kids Dentist who handed out new toothbrushes to all the walkers so they could switch out after a cold this season.

In addition to new toothbrushes, walkers also got ARC first aid kits, bananas, hydration, and T-shirts for first-timers!

Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. What better way to start your weekend than on your feet making strides to help your heart and improving your general health to live longer! While you walk at your own pace, you’ll have the opportunity to have questions answered by local physicians.

If you missed this month’s walk, you can still join the fun. Check out the schedule for future Manor WWAD events!
