ARC Helps Austin Blastoff to a Healthy Summer

On June 10, ARC doctors and staff helped Austinites blastoff to a healthy summer at the Summer Fun Launch Party at Whole Foods Lamar. Attendees got a free summer fun checklist for the kids. There was live music, games, activities, drinks, and snacks.

Austin Regional Clinic doctors and staff had a blast spinning the ARC Healthy Food Choices game with Austin families. There was quite a turnout from ARC, including: Pediatricians Dr. Jacques Benun (ARC Manor); Dr. Alison Ziari and Dr. Brent Nick, (both at ARC Wilson Parke), and Dr. Mai Duong, Associate Chief ARC Pediatrics and Dr. Knema Rezaei (both at ARC Southwest) were joined by Family Medicine physicians Dr. Marc Zook and Dr. Serena Hon (both at ARC Wilson Parke) as well as ARC Wilson Parke staff members Nicole Johnson (Pediatric Staff Medical Assistant), NaTeshia Tanksley (Staff Medical Assistant), and Gregory Stermolle (Nursing Supervisor).

In addition to having fun and learning about healthy choices, all attendees were helping the Central Texas community. Proceeds from ticket sales went to the Whole Kids Foundation, and food items used to get free admission were donated to the Central Texas Food Bank.

Looking forward to next year!
