Saturday Morning Mammograms at ARC Far West

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to promote awareness and early detection, ARC Far West is offering Saturday morning 2D/3D mammograms on Saturdays through October, beginning October 7, from 8:00am-12noon.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, but is also one of the most treatable with early detection. Mammograms are recommended for women age 50 and over, but women ages 40-49 or with significant risk factors should discuss earlier screenings with their doctor.

In addition to a 2D/3D mammogram provided by ARC’s trained and accredited mammography technicians, patients will receive a cosmetic bag, chocolate treats, emery boards, stress balls, and a bra fitting by experts at Petticoat Fair, all complimentary.

3D mammograms are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare for those eligible patients.

Mammograms continue to be available weekdays, Monday-Friday, year-round at ARC Far West. For more information and to request an appointment, visit or call 512-346-6611.
