Good Nutrition Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All
October 07, 2019
Austin Regional Clinic is happy to announce that Laura Sepulveda-Stoll, MS, RD, LD, Dietitian, has joined the Healthiness team at ARC Far West.
“Ever since I was young,” Laura says, “I knew what I ate mattered. My parents always encouraged me to eat diverse foods to be healthy. And by becoming a Dietitian, I knew I could be a resource for others.”
When asked about her approach to patients seeking nutrition counseling, Laura explains that there is no “one size fits all” approach. “Each patient is unique,” she says, “and each patient’s story is essential in creating personalized nutrition recommendations.”
Laura Sepulveda-Stoll was born in Monterey, Mexico, and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. When she’s not at work, Laura enjoys exploring Austin with her family and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. Her favorite local spots are the Texas Farmers Market and the Austin Antique Mall.
As for a health tip, Laura advises that experimenting with new foods can be healthy. “Nobody likes change and trying new foods can be challenging,” she says. “You can expand your eating experience by choosing a variety of nutritious foods. Don’t be afraid to try something new! It is never too late.”
