ARC Nurse and National Guard Member Deployed

Hurricane Harvey may have left the Austin area, but its impact is still being felt. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has activated the state's entire National Guard to help out in areas hard hit throughout the state.

As reported in this article from the Austin American Statesman, one guardsman being called to active duty is Judith Chedville, an advance practice nurse with Austin Regional Clinic. Judith says, “This truly is the opportunity that most of us who are in the National Guard want: To help people in our area.

"We're proud to support our National Guard who are able to help our fellow Texans during this crisis.  We wish them success and safety." says Patti Parker, Vice President, ARC Population Health/Clinical Quality Programs.
