Medicare open enrollment has begun and runs through December 7.

With the many choices available, it can be an overwhelming process to choose the plan with the medical and prescription coverage you need, keep your ARC doctors, and save money. Here are some tips to help you choose the right plan for you.

Getting expert advice

Attend an upcoming Shop and Compare event to help you choose the plan with the medical and prescription coverage you need.

All year long, you can call 1-817-410-5954 to speak with a licensed insurance agent familiar with Medicare coverage options and plans accepted at ARC. Agents review health and prescription needs and recommend the best plan for you. Agents are paid by all commercial plans and traditional Medicare when they sign patients up, so they are not swayed toward one plan or another.

Knowing in-network plans for ARC doctors

When selecting a plan, make sure that your new plan includes the Austin Regional Clinic primary care and specialty doctors you know and trust. To see if an MA plan includes ARC providers:

Check the ARC insurance listing, or

Call 512-ARC-INFO at 512-272-4636.

Know your deadline

You have through December 7 to add, change, or drop Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage plan coverage for 2023.

Here to help

ARC has you covered – we accept traditional Medicare and several Medicare Advantage Plans. We welcome new and established patients to ARC and encourage all patients to learn about their Medicare options.

All Medicare Advantage plans accepted at ARC include the Connected Senior Care Advantage (CSCA) program, proactively coordinating health care for members and offering additional wellness benefits like dental, hearing, and vision coverage.
