Austin Regional Clinic Doctors receive special recognition
Texas Monthly’s SUPER DOCTORS: Rising Stars 2013 listing includes
10 Austin Regional Clinic physicians

June 20, 2013 - Ten Austin Regional Clinic physicians representing eight specialties are featured in the July, 2013 issue of Texas Monthly in its list of Texas Super Doctors: Rising Stars Edition 2013. The publishers of Texas Monthly and Key Professional Media, Inc., released this list of Texas Rising Stars, stating that they are “the physicians who are trusted and sought out by colleagues for medical care.” The doctors were selected by their peers and verified by the Key Professional Media research staff.

Key Professional Media, Inc. asked more than 40,000 medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from 42 specified medical specialties based on one question: “If you needed medical care in one of the following specialties, which doctor would you choose?” The research team identified newer Texas doctors who have been fully-licensed approximately 10 years or less. The “Rising Stars” distinction is in its second year , specifically recognizing younger physicians, for Texas Super Doctors, which publishes its main list in December. Only 2.5% of all active Texas physicians are selected to the Texas Rising Stars list.

“We consider all our doctors to be ‘super doctors,’ providing comprehensive, coordinated care and preventive care that benefits our patients and saves healthcare dollars in the long run. We are proud of our 10 young ARC physicians who are receiving this special recognition from their peers,” said Dr. Norman H. Chenven, Founder and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic.

The following Austin Regional Clinic physicians are included in the Texas Super Doctors: Rising Stars 2013 listing:
