Austin Regional Clinic Doctors receive special recognition
Texas Monthly’s SUPER DOCTORS: Rising Stars 2012 listing
includes 4 Austin Regional Clinic physicians
June 22, 2012 — Austin Regional Clinic Four Austin Regional Clinic physicians representing four specialties are featured in the July, 2012 issue of Texas Monthly in its list of Texas Super Doctors: Rising Stars 2012. The publishers of Texas Monthly and Key Professional Media, Inc., released this list of Texas Rising Stars, stating that they are “the physicians who are trusted and sought out by colleagues for medical care.” The doctors were selected by their peers and verified by the Key Professional Media research staff.
Key Professional Media, Inc. asked more than 40,000 medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from 41 specified medical specialties based on one question: “If you needed medical care in one of the following specialties, which doctor would you choose?” The research team identified newer Texas doctors who have been fully-licensed approximately 10 years or less. The “Rising Stars” distinction is a new category , specifically recognizing younger physicians, for Texas Super Doctors, which publishes its main list in December.
“We consider all our doctors to be “super doctors,” and that our system of coordinated care and preventive care benefits patients and saves healthcare dollars in the long run. We are proud of our four young ARC physicians who are receiving this special recognition from their peers,” said Dr. Norman Chenven, Founder and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic.
