Company & Professional Background

Ms. Clayton serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for ARC, providing strategic leadership over the company’s people function to ensure ARC’s continued leadership in attracting, developing and retaining top healthcare talent. Ms. Clayton has served as a leader in Human Resources for nearly 20 years, with previous experience in human resources from large multinational companies to Austin-based start-ups in both medical devices and financial services. She is a member of the ARC Executive Board.


Ms. Clayton hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. She also has completed the Executive Education curriculum in Strategic HR Management from the University of Michigan.

Professional Membership

Ms. Clayton is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Community Leadership and Volunteering

Ms. Clayton volunteers as a fundraiser for LifeWorks Austin and Ronald McDonald House Austin. She volunteered in Australia during her 4-year employment there for Ronald McDonald House and the Heart Centre for Children,, and her company was awarded “WGEA Employer of Choice” for excellence in Diversity & Inclusion, a national award, for programs her HR team launched. Ms. Clayton also holds two national club gold medals in rowing from the 2014 Australian Masters National Championships.
