ARC Gives Back to the Greater Austin Community

Austin Regional Clinic supports health care goals in the Greater Austin Community both by providing health care to individuals, and also by contributing to and participating in programs that focus on improving health conditions for EVERYONE in the ten communities we serve through medical care, screenings, research or education. Dr. Colleen Adkins and ARC Wilson Parke clinic manager, Greg Stermolle had a great time meeting the children and families of the Steiner Ranch community at the 2019 Easter Egg Hunt held on Saturday, April 20.

Bee Cave Mighty Kite Flight

For the second year in a row the team from ARC Bee Cave, including Family Medicine physician Dr. Adrianna Pratt, joined the annual festivities for three hours of live music, great food, and kite flying. Thank you to the Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce for hosting the fun-filled event. We get better at flying kites each year!

Mustang Hustle Fitness Fun Run

The first annual Mustang Hustle Fitness Run was held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Canyon Vista Middle School. The event was held to promote mental and physical wellness and included a 5K run/walk, interspersed with fitness stations and obstacles. ARC pediatrician, Dr. Elizabeth Knapp, accompanied by Gregg Blair, ARC operations director, shared in the fun.

Manor Easter Egg Dash

The 2nd Annual Manor Easter Egg Dash held on Saturday April 13 was a great success! Not even rain could stop more than 300 kids from attending while Mary Brown, clinic manager at ARC Manor, and clinic staff handed out ARC cups with sweet treats, goodie bags, coloring books, and more. It was also a great opportunity to touch base with many families to let them know we are here when they need us.

Walk to Cure Arthritis

Austin Regional Clinic was proud to support the annual Walk to Cure Arthritis event hosted by the Arthritis Foundation at Concordia University on Saturday, April 13. In addition to a sponsorship, the eight-person team,“Tower of Terrors,” represented ARC and raised an additional $1,000 for the cause. The charitable event helps raise money and awareness for the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis in the U.S.

Gus Garcia Family & Friends Workshop

Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy, the all-boys academy in East Austin that helps students achieve their greatest potential, held a Friends & Family Workshop, on Saturday, March 30. ARC Manor was proud to support the event and let families know that they were just down the road.

Seton Medical Center Williamson and Ignite Women's Health presented ‘Women’s Health Day,' an event that educates and encourages women in a healthy lifestyle to promote healthier communities, on Saturday, March 2nd.

Peace, Music, and Awards at BudaStock

The 17th Annual Buda Chamber of Commerce Gala – BudaStock , was held on Saturday, March 2nd at the TDS Wildlife Pavilion. The evening was filled with music, awards, fabulous food, favorite threads from the 60s, and a “far out” time. Drs. Margaret Gilmore, MaryAnn Gamble, Mike Ward, and Mai Duong, along with Clinic Manager, Victoria Escamilla and clinic staff, Cortney Falkenberg, and Ervenia Soto attended the event.

9th Annual Negley Races

Drs. Kaleb Hamilton and Shane Constable, Family Medicine physicians at ARC Kyle Plum Creek, joined by staff, Nick Erwin and Kelly Alvarez, participated in the races at Negley Elementary School. This is the PTA’s fundraiser for the year, featuring 5K, 3K, and 1K races to walk, jog or run, and promote healthy living in the community.

Heath & Wellness in Kyle

Kaila Smith, Ob/Gyn nurse practitioner at ARC South OB and ARC Kyle Plum Creek, along with Kristen Howell, LVN and Felix Horton, LVN joined Chelsea Goebler and Lindsey Jennings with ARC Healthiness to participate in the Kyle Chamber of Commerce’s Health & Wellness Fair.
