About
Elizabeth C.N. Winful-Acquaye, MD
-
Dr. Winful-Acquaye grew up in Accra, Ghana, and came to the U.S. for her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She has over 20 years of experience working with pediatric patients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband, walking her dogs, listening to music, exercising, and supporting church activities. She and her husband have two grown children.
As far back as I can remember, I have wanted to be a physician. My love for children was the driving force behind my choice of Pediatrics. Every smile and hug, every innocent glance from a child, every sick child made well is worth it! I believe in treating all patients with empathy and excellence, using evidence-based medicine. I also believe that every staff member, as part of a team/family, has unique strengths and needs that, when recognized and appreciated, foster unity in achieving our common goal of patient and staff satisfaction.
