About
Amanda V. Soza, MD
-
Dr. Soza grew up in Fulshear, TX, a small town outside of Houston. When she is not working, she “thoroughly enjoys” playing with her dog, Ruby, who is now considered a senior “but just as feisty as the day I got her.” Dr. Soza also enjoys trying new food, salsa dancing, and fantasy novels. Being relatively new to Central Texas, she considers Lake Travis “absolutely beautiful,” and also has fond memories of floating the Frio River and camping at Garner State Park in the Texas Hill Country.

I chose to be a doctor because I wanted to be able to help people and have a lasting impact on their lives. I still remember some of the things my pediatrician advised me to do, and wanting to have that kind of lasting effect, I felt pediatrics was the best specialty for me. Every step along the way has proven to be true. In my practice, open and honest communication, while keeping education of both the child and parents at heart, leads to the best care.
