Dr. Cox, Obstetrics/Gynecology, will be relocating her practice to the new ARC South OB location and will begin seeing patients on Monday, January 13, 2014. Dr. Cox is a Fellow in the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG). She received the “Golden Hands” award for best surgical resident, and is a past Chief of the OB/Gyn Department at Seton Medical Center Austin.
Dr. Cox recommends the UpToDate web site found on the ARC web site for her patients. She updates her own knowledge from contemporary OB/Gyn and ACOG journals.
Dr. Cox’s passion is to go on medical mission trips. She has been to Ghana, India, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Haiti, providing medical care to those underdeveloped countries, and believes that those who have privilege should help those who are underprivileged. Dr. Cox enjoys staying physically fit, and says “my sport is basketball!.”
