Dr. Elizondo, Internal Medicine, is currently accepting new patients.
"I practice evidence-based medicine with an emphasis on diet and exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My goal is to keep medication to a minimum. However, when it’s time to treat a condition, whether through medication or surgery, I believe in treating it aggressively. Moreover, I believe in patient education, so I have a short discussion on my patients’ medical condition(s) during a visit. I listen to my patients and include them in every step of the medical decision-making process."

Originally from Edinburg, TX, in the lower Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Elizondo moved to Austin for college and eventually stayed for the unique quality of life that the capital city has to offer. He can be found jogging on the Town Lake trails, taking in the atmosphere at SXSW or Austin City Limits festivals, walking the UT campus, admiring the views from Mount Bonnell, or waiting for the bats to emerge from under the Congress Avenue bridge. The remainder of his spare time is devoted to his family and two dogs.
