Dr. Mitchell recommends the McKesson Pediatric Advisor patient education materials on the ARC web site as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) web site for her patients. Her special interests include general pediatrics, infectious disease, and she does ear-piercing in females 5 years and older as long as their immunizations are up to date.
Personal Summary
Dr. Mitchell enjoys vacationing at the beach, reading, yoga, supporting volleyball – both school and travel teams for her daughter, and spending time with family and friends. Her son and daughter keep her busy and she enjoys being involved in and volunteering for their various school and extracurricular activities. Aside from that, she also enjoys being active in the community with the National Charity League/Capital of Texas Chapter philanthropies, including Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Bookspring’s Reading is Fundamental project, and Operation Interdependence.
