Austin Regional Clinic Doctors receive special recognition
Texas Monthly’s annual SUPER DOCTORS listing includes
14 Austin Regional Clinic physicians
November 16, 2011 - Fourteen Austin Regional Clinic physicians representing six specialties are featured in the December, 2011 issue of Texas Monthly in its eighth annual list of Texas Super Doctors. The publishers of Texas Monthly and Key Professional Media, Inc., released this list of Texas Super Doctors stating that they are “who medical professionals trust and hold to the highest regard.” The doctors were selected by their peers and verified by the Key Professional Media research staff. The list serves as a resource to find the “best and brightest” doctors in their field.
Key Professional Media asked more than 40,000 medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctors, other than themselves, from specified medical specialties based on one question: “If you needed medical care in one of the following specialties, which doctor would you choose?” The research team also identified Texas doctors who had achieved special recognition from their peers or had demonstrated other indications of expertise in their specialties. The researchers made sure each physician is properly licensed and has no history of disciplinary action. The 2011 list includes doctors in more than 30 medical practice areas.
“We believe all our doctors are super doctors and that our system of coordinated care and preventive care saves healthcare dollars in the long run. We are proud that these 14 ARC physicians are receiving much-deserved recognition from other medical professionals,” said Dr. Norman Chenven, Founder and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic.
