PATTI PARKER HONORED BY AUSTIN BUSINESS JOURNAL
July 23, 2010. Patti Parker, Director of Business Development and Physical Therapy for Austin Regional Clinic, was honored today with an Austin Business Journal award.
ABJ’s 16th Annual “Profiles in Power & Women of Influence” Luncheon recognized 25 nominees from business, civic, nonprofit and volunteer organizations who, as the publication said, “are the top Central Texas women industry leaders who have forged their own path and developed their own leadership principles. They have made a difference in their communities, blazed new trails, and are leaving a mark on Central Texas business.”
Ms. Parker joined ARC in 1982, and has worked in and/or managed many areas of Austin Regional Clinic, Covenant Management Systems (ARC’s parent company), and MediView (ARC’s third-party administrator division).
Ms. Parker is also a community volunteer, chairing several of the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s committees, serving as a judge for various organizations’ awards, and as a driver for Meals on Wheels and More. Ms. Parker received the 2009 Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award from the Communications Council.
In congratulating Ms. Parker on her award, Dr. Norman Chenven, CEO and Founder of ARC, said: “Patti has been a driving force for many years behind the success of ARC, serving as an example of success through dedication and hard work. She is a role model to many current and former ARC employees, and we are very proud to have the community recognize her with this award.”
