eŌs DERMATOLOGY – New Name
January 3, 2010. eŌs, a dermatology clinic and med spa by Austin Regional Clinic, has announced a name change, from eŌs Dermatology & Med Spa to simply eŌs DERMATOLOGY. The name change highlights the professional skin care services and products offered at eŌs, the leading reason for most clinic visits.
“We want our patients to know that the professionalism of our medical and aesthetic staff, our evidence-based services and procedures, and our state-of-the-art equipment, represent more than just a med spa,” said Dr. Steven Rasmussen, eŌs Medical Director. “We are a leading dermatology clinic in downtown Austin specializing in cosmetic and skin care services and we want our name to reflect that.”
eŌs patients know they are being cared for directly by their physician, which sets eŌs apart from many area med spas. Dr. Rasmussen performs all injections and oversees all aesthetic procedures and treatment plans, and personally chooses which procedures or products are most effective.
eŌs DERMATOLOGY opened in March, 2008, at 1717 West 6th St., Ste. 120R, in the Hartland Plaza near downtown Austin. Three medical aestheticians are among the staff assisting Dr. Rasmussen, and the clinic is open Monday-Saturday.
