AUSTIN REGIONAL CLINIC OPENS eŌs DERMATOLOGY & MED SPA

March 17, 2008- eŌs Dermatology Med Spa by Austin Regional Clinic opened Monday, March 17, at 1717 West 6th St., Ste. 120-R, in the Hartland Plaza (between West 5th & West 6th Sts.) in Austin.

Dr. Steve Rasmussen, Dermatologist, formerly at ARC South Specialty, will relocate his practice to eŌs to serve as the Medical Director for the Spa.  Joanie Watson is the Med Spa Manager.  They will be joined by an aesthetic nurse provider and an aesthetician to offer a wide variety of medical and spa services in an upscale environment.
Med Spa services will include Botox, dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm, IPL PhotoFacials, hair removal, acne and rosacea treatment, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and more.

Spa therapies include facials, lash and brow tinting, hand and foot hydration treatments, oxygen therapy, airbrush tanning, and more, including a Serenity Lounge.  Skin care products from such recognized companies as Obagi will be available.
eŌs is a new venture for Austin Regional Clinic, with both the new spa services and a downtown location. Dr. Rasmussen, practicing with ARC since 2006, is a board-certified dermatologist offering a variety of services including evaluations and treatment of skin cancers, contact dermatitis, hair diseases, nail disorders, rashes, scars, and other skin problems.

“This is really exciting for ARC and for the community,” said Dr. Rasmussen. “There’s a great demand for these services, and our location makes us very accessible and convenient. I am committed to providing our clients with both excellent dermatology care and the highest quality luxurious spa services at a reasonable price from a name they know and trust.”

An Open House for the public is planned for mid-April.
