Austin Regional Clinic Doctors receive special recognition
Austin Business Journal’s “Best Doctors” listing
includes 13 Austin Regional Clinic physicians

September 2, 2011.  Thirteen Austin Regional Clinic physicians representing five specialties are featured in the September 2 special section of the Austin Business Journal, announcing its first annual list of “Best Doctors.”

The ABJ Best Doctors list covers 59 specialty and subspecialty categories in the Central Texas area who are in The Best Doctors In America 2011-2012 listing.  The listing of more than 50,000 expert physicians worldwide is compiled by Best Doctors, Inc., a 22-year-old Boston-based medical information company that has the largest continuous peer-to-peer review of medical professionals.

As part of the Best Doctors’ survey, conducted biennially, physicians are asked questions like, “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?”  Current doctors on the list confidentially evaluate other physicians – current listees and new nominees – in their own and related specialties.

“We believe all our doctors are “the best” doctors and that our system of coordinated care and preventive care saves healthcare dollars in the long run. We are proud that these thirteen ARC physicians are receiving much-deserved recognition from their peers,” said Dr. Norman Chenven, Founder and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic.
