Austin Regional Clinic Honored by Austin Business Journal as
One of the Best Places to Work in Central Texas
AUSTIN, TX — May 21, 2010 — Austin Regional Clinic has been named one of the 2010 top 10 best places to work in Central Texas in the large company category by the Austin Business Journal. ARC was among the 55 finalists recognized at a special luncheon and awards presentation at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on May 21.
Companies were selected based on employee feedback from confidential surveys conducted by Quantum Market Research. The surveys ranked work aspects such as friendly and comfortable atmosphere, team spirit, benefits, concern for employee welfare and the level to which staff felt satisfaction with their jobs. Out of over 150 companies surveyed, 55 were chosen as finalists within one of three categories: Small, Medium and Large Company. Austin Regional Clinic qualified for the large company category with its 1,382 employees.
“This honor is made possible by the contributions that each and every one of our employees makes every day,” commented Dr. Norman Chenven, Founder & CEO. “In a very busy and quickly growing healthcare environment, we rely on the compassion and expertise of all our employees to meet the needs of our patients. We are lucky to have a unique and supportive culture and employees who are passionate about what they do and the environment in which they do it.”
This is the 6th year that ARC has placed among the top 10 “Best Places To Work” in its category. Lyn Chasteen, ABJ Publisher, said, “This year’s Best Places to Work winners represent some of the finest workplaces in Central Texas, with some of the happiest employees.”
