Who are We?
Austin Regional Clinic began as a professional association in 1980, and today is one of the largest multispecialty health care groups in central Texas. Austin Regional Clinic's focus is on primary care - the specialties of family practice, pediatrics, and general internal medicine. We emphasize the importance of long-term doctor/patient relationships and the coordination of care.
Our Mission
Austin Regional Clinic's mission is to provide comprehensive, accessible health care to individuals and families in central Texas, with sensitivity to the cost of that care. We believe that each doctor/patient relationship is unique. We are committed to high professional standards in providing personalized care and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Teamwork
Austin Regional Clinic doctors, health care providers, and staff work together as a team. We are dedicated to your health, and we want you to be involved with us in achieving that goal by understanding and, as much as possible, by participating in your own health care.
Selecting a Doctor
It is important to us that you feel comfortable with your health care providers. Therefore, we encourage you to select as your doctor or health care provider someone with whom you are able to communicate freely and honestly about your medical needs. For assistance in selecting a health care provider, you may call our Information Line, ARC-INFO, at ( 512) 272-4636.
Building a Relationship You Can Trust
Building trust and communication between you and your doctor takes time. Once built, however, the benefits of a long-term relationship are immeasurable for you. Sensitive health issues are more easily discussed with your doctor and nurse whose competence and caring you have come to trust. For your doctor and nurse, there is the satisfaction of working with you and our other patients we know in the common cause of good health.
