ARC Gives Back to the Greater Austin Community

Austin Regional Clinic aims to support health care goals in the Greater Austin Community both by providing health care to individuals,and also by contributing to and participating in programs that focus on improving health conditions for EVERYONE in the community through medical care, screenings, research or education. ARC is proud to support the various local events and organizations listed below.

october 24, 2009The Hays Consolidated Independent School District held its 1st Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, October 24. Hundreds of Hays CISD employees and families attended. ARC Kyle Plum Creek participated with a booth, information, and giveaways to attendees.
october 18, 2009Dr. Donald Brode (FM, ARC South) participated in the annual AIDS Walk on October 18. ARC was a sponsor of this year’s walk.
october 17, 2009The 24th Annual Hutto Olde Tyme Days event was held Saturday, October 17, with a festival including vendor booths, entertainment, food, and activities. ARC Hutto staffers Kim Bolz, Karen DeLeeuw, Shari Fontenot, and Daniel Lopez participated at the ARC booth. “It was a Great turnout,” said Kim.

october 17, 2009The 10th Annual Austin Vietnamese Community Health Fair, sponsored by the Austin Vietnamese American Medical Society, took place on October 17. Dr. Cam-Ha Nguyen (Pedi, ARC Anderson Mill) represented ARC to provide information and giveaways.

october 6, 2009Dr. Anas Daghestani (IM, ARC South) met with Texas State Representative Eddie Rodriguez on October 6 to discuss and inform him about tort reform issues.
october 3, 2009Travis County Sheriff’s Department Extravaganza was Saturday October 3, and ARC Pflugerville was on hand with Denise Gonzales and Sue Stanley, who provided information and giveaways. “This is always a huge event,” said Denise and Sue, “and we had a good time representing ARC.”
october 2, 2009Dr. Ed Bombach (GS, Cedar Park Medical Plaza), Chief of Surgery at both ARC and Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, gave a presentation on minimally invasive hernia repair to the Northwest Austin Rotary Club on October 2.
