equal opportunity

Austin Regional Clinic recognizes the right of our employees and patients to support the issues about which they feel strongly and express their political views. Any views of our physicians, staff or patients in no way reflect the views or policies of the organization as a whole. In fact, Austin Regional Clinic is proud of our policies, benefits, and actions that adequately express our positions on civil rights and human equality, including those listed below.

  • POLICIES: It is part of our written policy that we offer "equal opportunity for employment to individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or mental or physical disabilities, or sexual orientation but with due regard to their relative qualifications, job requirements, and job performance. It is part of our formal policies of the organization."
  • BENEFITS: We offer full partner benefits for both physicians and staff throughout the whole organization.
  • DIVERSITY: Our physicians and staff are reflective of the communities that we serve and we are proud of our diversity. To see our complete physician directory, please click here. Our patients also reflect the diversity of our community and we care for patients solely based on their health care needs.
  • COMMUNITY: As an organization we support our diverse communities, whether it is through attending a church, YMCA, or employer health fair, buying advertisements in the Austin Christian Family magazine or the Jewish Outlook, sponsoring events celebrating the George Carver Museum, Cinco de Mayo, the opening of a Hindu Temple, or the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. For more information on our support of community events throughout the years, visit our community web page
  • AWARDS: Austin Regional Clinic has won many awards including the Best Place to Work award, voted by our employees, and the Austin Chronicle Best Health Care award in 2005 and 2006, voted by our community. An organization can only gain such recognition by accepting differences, providing quality care and treating everyone equally. Read more about awards.

Austin Regional Clinic has been a part of the whole Austin community since 1980. We take pride in the health care that we provide to our patients and the support that we offer to the community.  We are a homegrown, local group of physicians and staff. We are over 1300 individuals with families, and we are your neighbors.  We continue to provide all individuals with the quality health care that we have offered the community since 1980, and are proud to hire staff and care for patients regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, mental or physical disabilities, or sexual orientation.
