ARC patients requesting a same-day or future appointment online can now chose to receive a text message appointment confirmation to their cell phone. This is available for most cell phone service providers in the Greater Austin area. Patients have always received an e-mail when their online appointment request was confirmed. This new feature allows patients to receive the appointment confirmation in two places. We hope this becomes a more convenient option for patients who need more timely updates about their requests.
