Austin Regional Clinic provides nutrition counseling for only $5.00/visit to encourage our patients to better educate themselves and learn to live a healthier lifestyle. ARC has three specialists providing nutrition counseling services: Chris Marquette, RD LD, Jamie Ebner, RN and Mary Anne Smith, RN, RD, CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator).
 
Our dietician, CDE and nurses provide services for children over two years old and to all adults. Our services include advising on dietary needs for such conditions as diabetes, weight management, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension. Chris Marquette, RD, LD is bilingual and can see our Spanish-speaking patients. Jamie Ebner, RN and Mary Anne Smith, RN, RD, CDE focus on dietary counseling for our diabetes patients.

ARC dietician, CDE and nurses offer their services at ARC South, ARC Far West, ARC Round Rock, and ARC Anderson Mill. Patients can request referrals from their physicians or call the clinic directly to make an appointment. At this time, ARC charges patients a $5.00 educational materials fee and does not charge for the actual visit. All patients are encouraged to call any of the clinics where services are offered to schedule an appointment for this service.
